Introducing Atieh Alyasin

Atieh is a biomedical scientist with more than five years’ experience working with disseminated and circulating tumour cells (DTCs and CTCs) in breast cancer – and she’s deeply passionate about turning complex science into meaningful clinical impact.

Her expertise lies in single-cell analysis and patient sample processing, where she works hand-on with techniques like high-resolution microscopy, rare cell isolation, and advanced molecular biology assays. In simple terms, she’s focused on understanding cancer at its most detailed level – helping uncover how it starts, behaves and responds to treatment.

At Frontier Diagnostics, Atieh plays a key role in developing and refining the Sentinel qCTC platform. Her work supports phenotypic characterisation and drug sensitivity testing, helping move the needle towards more personalised and effective cancer care.

What really defines her approach is collaboration. She works closely with academic researchers, clinicians and bioinformatics teams to connect the dots between lab-data and real-world patient outcomes.

By blending science, teamwork and innovation, she’s helping push precision oncology forward – making diagnostics smarter, more reliable and ultimately more impactful for patients.
