MARTIN’S STORY – THE FRONTIER JOURNEY
Our CEO, Dr. Martin Burow, exemplifies the values that drive Frontier Diagnostics. His journey is one of relentless curiosity, scientific purpose, and a deep-seated commitment to reshaping how cancer – particularly breast cancer – is diagnosed and managed.
Martin began his work through DMB Diagnostics, seeking ways to ease the impact of chemotherapy. This led him to explore Circulating Tumour Cell (CTC) monitoring technologies. As his interest deepened, he realised their potential went far beyond supportive therapies – opening doors to early detection, therapy personalisation, and relapse monitoring.
Fuelled by the belief that more could be done, Martin founded Frontier Diagnostics. Today, he leads a team building a new generation of optical systems and CTC assays, providing precise, actionable insights into tumour biology and treatment response. His goal: to empower not only clinicians, but patients, with better tools to improve their own outcomes.
Martin has embedded patient centricity into the heart of our clinical development strategy. Under his leadership, we ensure that patient voices not only guide but actively shape the development of our diagnostic solutions – delivering real impact throughout every step of the cancer journey.
